Canadiens vs Golden Knights game 6

Wild Bill has licked his wounds and various other body parts since the drubbing he took on his last bet. Never one to brag, I am fairly certain I said Andrei Vasilevskiy would have a big game. All he did was pitch a shutout. Wild Bill is back again and going to toss some money down on this evenings game. Let’s get to the pick.

“You’d think I would be developing quite the hatred for the Habs by this point, but really it’s more of appreciating the anomaly. Like a solar eclipse, a birdie putt on a par three, or a match on Tinder, you appreciate it for what it is and understand you are witnessing something special.

Part of me wants to stick to my guns and take the Knights in game 6.

Unfortunately, the odds are just too good to pass up. I am taking the Habs on the moneyline to close out the series at home. If they end up losing though, I think I will be able to muster up some hate.”

Those are certainly some friendly odds. At this point I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Canadiens end things tonight. Something special is going on in Montreal.

Vegas on the other hand has at no point looked like the team that took care of my Avs. I get the feeling that series took everything out of them to win, and the Habs are clearly peaking at the right time.

It sounds like Robin Lehner will be between the pipes for Vegas. As good of a guy as Marc-Andre Fleury appears to be, this must be eating away at him. If they are to come back and win this series, Lehner will be their man. This feels like it could be the end for Fleury in Vegas.

Funny that Wild Bill mentions Tinder. The poor guy is still talking about Beth, his loan match from 3 years back. If any of the ladies out there reading this are interested, feel free to send me a message. I can connect you with him. He is gainfully employed, and relatively STD free.
